European Shibir 2012

Dear Shri / Shrimati,

The European Shibir 2012 (shibir is a camp / retreat) will be held in The Netherlands. The proposed programme for the Shibir includes games, yoga and group discussions on various cultural and historical aspects. The Shibir will give us the unique opportunity to come together and think about how to organize the Hindu society spread across the various European countries & to promote the basic Hindu values and build on the success of previous shibirs.

I feel a great pleasure to invite you and your family for the European shibir 2012.

Date:

Thursday 05-4-2012 to Sunday 08-4-2012
All the participants are requested to reach the Campsite by 5 pm on Thursday 5th April
The shibir will finish after breakfast on Sunday 8th April at 10 am.

Venue:

Nova College Burgemeester Hogguerstraat 2, 1064 EB Amsterdam

Contribution: Students / Unemployed: € 35, Employed: € 40, Family: €100

Personal Requirements:

At least one pair of trousers, which can withstand rough use, tracksuit, sport trainers, personal clothing, (a warm cardigan -jumper), jacket for protection from rain and personal toiletries.
Ganvesh (Black trouser, white shirt,back socks and black shoes for Swayamsevaks (men) and white sari or Indian suit for Sevikas (women)).
A notebook and a pen.
Your National Health Medical Card or Health Insurance Certificate and medicine you require.
Sleeping bag & pillow (we are staying at the school premises so it’s important to have sleeping bag and pillow with you).

Please bring your warm clothing as The Netherlands is cold in April.
