Seva Day at mandir Slemested.

Sewa day is held every year all over the world. On this day, different organizations all over the world conduct volunteer work which is beneficial for society surrounding them. This concept/project is inspired from Hindu value of “Sewa”(Selfless volunteer work). The ample of this initiative is huge and more information about Sewa day can be seen on http://www.sewaday.org/home/ .Sewa means service and best service to the God is through service to mankind & society.

This year Sewa day was held in Oslo on Sunday 7th Oct 2012 at Sanatan Mandir Slemmestadfrom 12 to 3 pm. We provided our sewa to our beloved Mandir by doing cleanup work in side Mandir. The sewa day was held first time in Oslo Norway.

Everybody enjoyed the sewa work and looking forward for next year.
