HSS Norway has been sponsoring Ekal Vidyalaya schools in Bharat (India) since last 5 years.

Ekal Vidyalaya is an organization and movement aims to help eradicate illiteracy from rural and tribal India. This movement initiates, supports, and runs one-teacher schools (popularly known as Ekal Vidyalayas) all over the country. With participation of numerous non-profit trusts and organizations, this program has now become the greatest education movement in Bharat. HSS Norway’s Sponsorship of EVs: With your help, HSS Norway sponsored  22 schools in 2015. These schools are located in Assam and Tamilnadu, and has been successfully running for last five years. Many of you have already renewed your sponsorship. But there is a need of sponsorship for more schools in 2016 since target for sponsorship of no of schools this year is at least 30 in addition to 10 schools already sponsored by Stavanger Shakha & BalGokulam.

Your volunteer contribution:

Sponsorship cost for one school is Rs 20 000 (NOK 2 500) for one year. One school supports education for around 20-25 children. Your small contribution makes a big difference in the life of these underprivileged children and this is the best Sewa one can do for own satisfaction & pride. Your contribution can start from NOK 100. Alternatively one can sponsor a single school or two persons together can sponsor a single school. In case of single school sponsorship, the sponsor will be allocated a school in her/his own name and will receive all information directly in e-mail. In that case, please do send your e-mail id.
You can transfer your contribution to the account no 12078649559.
